Origin Node Group was founded in January 2026 by two operators who believe the best way to build great software companies is to actually build them — hands on the product, every day.

Why We Exist
The traditional venture model writes checks and waits. ONG builds. Jon Butler and Todd Calloway started Origin Node Group because they saw the same pattern play out over and over — talented people with real market insight, stuck at the starting line because shipping software is hard.
With backgrounds spanning software development, AI, real estate, and operational leadership, they built ONG as a true venture studio: a company that conceives, builds, and scales SaaS products from the inside. Every venture ONG owns is co-owned and actively developed — not passively observed — and the software we build for operators gets the same team and the same standard.
In its first year, ONG has built across building materials, automotive, healthcare, industrial, construction, property management, investment, and enterprise AI — from OmniLogic Pro and ParLogic Pro to Wheelie, Closure, and Aurora — with more in development. The goal isn't to build the most companies. It's to build the right ones, in verticals where AI and operational expertise create an unfair advantage.
