Three ways to work together
We are a venture studio, not a fund. We do not write cheques and we do not capitalise other people's companies. What we invest is engineering — our own people, building the thing.
You hire us to build it
Fixed scope, fixed fee. We design, build, and ship it, and you own the code outright. The ordinary way to work with us.
We build it with you
You know the market and can take it there. We build at a reduced fee and take equity instead of the balance, then keep building, scaling, and supporting it. Our upside is tied to yours, which is the point.
We build our own
Origin Node companies, built in-house from scratch. Wheelie, Aurora, OmniLogic and the rest started here.
What we are looking for
The partnerships that work start with someone who knows a market properly — its buyers, its workflows, why the incumbent software is bad. We supply the build. You supply the market and take it there.
What we are not looking for is a company to fund. If you need capital, we are the wrong call — and we would rather say that now than halfway through a meeting.
